Michael Jones operates Hot Shot Command, a business planning app for hot shot drivers and operators. This Privacy Policy explains what information Hot Shot Command collects, how we use and share it, and the choices available to users.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

When you create or use an account, Hot Shot Command collects information you provide directly, including your name and email address. The app may also process information you enter into planning tools, such as trip details, route inputs, mileage, rates, costs, expenses, and profitability assumptions, to provide estimates and comparisons requested by you.

Information Collected Automatically

Hot Shot Command and the services integrated into the app may collect technical information automatically, including IP address, device type, operating system, app version, device identifiers, diagnostic data, crash reports, performance information, and usage events.

Location Information

Hot Shot Command may collect precise location information while the app is in use and in the background when location access is enabled. Location information is used to support trip planning, route evaluation, mileage calculations, maps, and location-based app features.

Third-Party Service Information

Hot Shot Command receives or processes information through third-party services that support authentication, app infrastructure, diagnostics, maps, subscriptions, and app-store billing. Those services may collect information according to their own privacy policies, as described in the Third-Party Services section below.

Information Accessed but Not Retained

Hot Shot Command may request access to the camera, files, or photos when you choose to use related app features. Hot Shot Command does not retain copies of files or photos accessed through those permissions.

How We Use Your Information

We use information collected through Hot Shot Command to:

• Authenticate users and maintain user accounts
• Provide app features for trip planning, load evaluation, cost estimation, mileage calculation, and profitability comparison
• Provide mapping, routing, and location-based functionality
• Process and manage subscriptions through app-store billing and subscription management services
• Respond to support, privacy, and account-deletion requests
• Diagnose errors, monitor app performance, fix bugs, and maintain app security
• Comply with legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, and platform compliance obligations

How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. Hot Shot Command does not share your account data with other users, companies, dispatchers, drivers, administrators, or team members through the app.

We may share information with:

• Service providers that operate app infrastructure, authentication, diagnostics, maps, subscriptions, and billing features
• Apple and Google for app distribution, in-app purchases, subscriptions, receipts, and platform compliance
• Legal, regulatory, or security authorities when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or prevent fraud

Data Storage and Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. Data transmitted between the app and our services is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. However, no transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Third-Party Services

Hot Shot Command uses the following third-party services:

• Supabase provides authentication and backend infrastructure for account-related app services.
• Expo provides mobile app platform services used to develop, deliver, or operate the app.
• Sentry provides crash reporting, diagnostics, and error monitoring.
• Google Maps provides map, routing, geocoding, or location-related functionality on supported platforms.
• Apple Maps provides map, routing, geocoding, or location-related functionality on supported platforms.
• RevenueCat provides subscription and in-app purchase management.
• Apple App Store processes purchases, subscriptions, receipts, and related app-store account information for iOS users.
• Google Play Billing processes purchases, subscriptions, receipts, and related app-store account information for Android users.

These services may process information needed to provide their functionality, such as account identifiers, device information, diagnostics, location queries, subscription status, purchase receipts, and usage events.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain account and app data while your account remains active. When you request account deletion, we delete or anonymize associated account information within 30 days, except information we must retain for legal, security, fraud-prevention, platform compliance, or accounting purposes.

Residual copies may remain in backups for up to 90 days before they are deleted through normal backup rotation. Purchase, subscription, receipt, and transaction records may also remain with Apple, Google, RevenueCat, or other service providers according to their retention practices and legal obligations.

Your Choices

You may update or delete certain information by using app features or contacting support. You can control location, camera, files, and photo permissions through your device settings. Disabling permissions may limit some app features.

You may request account deletion in the app or submit account deletion and privacy questions by emailing support@hotshotcommand.com.

Children's Privacy

Hot Shot Command is intended for adults operating or managing commercial transportation businesses. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us at support@hotshotcommand.com so we can take appropriate action.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the effective date. When required, we will provide additional notice within the app or obtain consent before applying material changes.
